I got a BAN. What does that mean and what can I do now?

A ban is a punishment for players that violate the game rules. During a ban, you cannot send messages in chats or post on the forum.

A ban may be issued for flooding, bad language, spam, all-caps messages, begging or any other violation of the rules on the forum.

The ban will end on its own when its time expires. We do not remove bans.

Flooding and off-topic posting means senseless posts or posts unconnected to the topic at hand.

All-caps text means WRITING MESSAGES IN BIG LETTERS.

Flaming means “arguing for argument’s sake” or waging a war of words in a multi-user chatting environment. Such flame wars often have no relation to the initial reason for the argument.

Off-topic messages mean messages that do not relate to the thread’s subject.

UIB means a voluntary ban.

Bans are removed automatically when their time expires. Moderators set ban times at their discretion. The ban time depends on such factors as how often the user has violated the rules, how badly, and so on. We will not cancel or shorten bans under any circumstances. There are no exceptions. Attempting to argue your ban may lead to it being lengthened if a moderator or administrator considers this necessary.

If the ban lasts more than a year, it is most likely permanent, and that means it was given for a serious rule violation and is not subject to appeal. Such bans are issued very rarely as a gentler alternative to a permanent block (a full ban on playing the game).
